It looks excellent. Did you redraw some of the panels though?
I re-read this all the time. so good.
What an Awesome “read”!!!…. Even tho it has no words. I LOVE the art and especially the colors! It reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus. Great work!!!! I hope to see more of your work!
all these things, exactly
AaaaAAAAaaaaaawesome.
sucker for a poignant ending
Holy hell, Sam, that ending. Amazing.
Very cool, let it continue!
Wow, the art is really superb. Love the colors, love the facial expressions.
Finding a crate with a cell phone and a handgun, then battling a verdigris-colored woman with a spiky crown… any intended symbolism?
Thank you very much. Very, very cool indeed.
Wow!
Thanks!

This is absolutely brilliant and I loved the ending. Excellent use of watercolours too! :D
Wow. I re-red it.
My friend showed me this comic years ago and I’ve been trying to find it again ever since. I’m so glad I found it this was always my favorite comic and it still is. Such amazing colors and the story is so intense. I’m so overjoyed that I managed to find it again it’s just as amazing as I remember it being
Great comic, Sam! I was lead here as well by the Best American Comics series. This is a fantastic story, simple yet riveting, with art that’s clear and very evocative, especially with the use of the watercolors and the changing hues. Extremely strong work–loved it!
How did you scan your pages
What’s was the inspiration for the cave
So at the end is that stuff coming out of her ear meant to indicate that she is becoming the next statue of liberty monster?
I guess I’m late to comment here but I just discovered this page and also this comic. Everytime I read this, I discover a new thing. That’s a brilliant work so I feel like I just found a treasure.
