Jeremy, this is such a beautiful piece. I got a little Jorge Luis Borges and a little Jim Woodring out of it. But then it’s also so grounded and human and sad. Really really nice :)
Wow I really love this. So poetic. I’m a sucker for fantastic architecture assembling itself. I’d thrown in Calvino’s “Invisible Cities” alongside that Borges. This comic is what I imagined was inside Schuiten and Peeter’s Cities of the Fantastic series when I’d just seen the covers.
